Other co-branding elements include the Cactus Jack logo and smiley face on the left heel and the classic Jordan Wings and fragment’s lightning bolts that occupy the right. The laces adopt the same cream color for a seamless blend. Injecting the shoe with Cactus Jack flavor is the inverted and oversized off-white Swoosh that dominates the lateral profile. Black is the color of choice for the mudguard, giving the sneaker a “Black Toe” look that was signature to the introductory styles of Jordans. Other nods towards the influential Japanese label include “FRAGMENTDESIGN” stitched onto the tongue and a special “Travis-Hiroshi” tag printed on midsole. Identical to its previous releases, the shoe will come with a classic fragment design touch: white leather upper is contrasted with overlays of black and royal blue. Now, this triple collaborative project is making its way back onto the Nike SNKRS app as a restock for the brand’s annual SNKRS day on 8 August. Its hype was largely attributed to the big names in this tag team - the coming together of a world renowned rapper, a Japanese imprint by the godfather of streetwear Hiroshi Fujiwara, and a sportswear giant makes for good headlines. Though the Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” is all the buzz now, the OG Travis Scott x Nike project was actually a triple collaboration between the Texas-born La Flame, fragment design and the Swoosh team in 2021.
